Orthodontics runs in the Sheinis family. Dr. Sheinis, the son of an orthodontist, grew up in South Florida. After spending many years watching his father transform smiles, he decided to follow in his footsteps.
Dr. Sheinis received a Bachelor's Degree in Science from Tulane University in New Orleans before attending dental school at the University of Maryland. He graduated with high honor and received numerous awards.
During his orthodontic residency at Stony Brook University in New York, Dr. Sheinis carried out extensive research on impacted canines and their side effects, as seen with 3D imaging. His significant findings were ultimately published in the American Journal of Orthodontics.
Dr. Sheinis is dedicated to staying current in his field. He regularly attends continuing education lectures and seminars to stay up to date with the newest technology and techniques available.
